Echter naar mijn mening zijn dit randvoorwaarden geworden voor een organisatie die zich “futureproof” zou willen noemen.
Trendwatchers zijn trendy en we moeten opletten dat niet zomaar de eerste de beste zich trendwatcher mag noemen….in één ding hebben ze allemaal gelijk; alles verandert steeds sneller, de wet van de versnelling doet steeds sneller zijn werk…..voor leiderschap betekent dit dat je hierin de voorloper moet zijn. Medewerkers willen meer en meer weten waarom ze doen wat ze doen en hoe hun werk in het grotere geheel past. Om deze ontwikkeling in te kunnen vullen en om dichtbij anderen te kunnen komen, moet je steeds dichter bij jezelf komen. Leiderschap dat mensen niet beter laat functioneren wordt niet langer meer gepikt en mensen bepalen zelf waar en hoe ze zich willen verbeteren. Dat is hun eigen leiderschap.
Het afgelopen jaar en tijdens de vele gesprekken die ik heb mogen voeren heb ik aan den lijve ondervonden dat vele zich hiervan bewust zijn maar ook dat vele zich daarvan nog niet bewust zijn. Het zijn meer en meer de ‘soft skills’ en begrippen als coachend leiderschap, authenticiteit, en dienend leiderschap die voor jou het verschil kunnen gaan maken. Waar ga jij aan werken het komende jaar? Hoe ga je daaraan werken? Welk doel stel je jezelf daarbij? Wat vinden de medewerkers ervan? Wat vindt het thuisfront ervan? Waar word ik gelukkig van? Etc, etc.…
Zorg dat je de komende tijd een antwoord vindt op deze vragen en 2017 gaat voor jou een groot succes worden!
