Ik sprak ook enkele monniken die me vertelde dat ze hoopte nog ooit 3 jaar in afzondering te mogen cq kunnen leven……
Als leider ben je je vaak niet bewust waarom je leider bent, hoe ben je dat geworden. Mijn ontdekking hierbij is dat dit komt door dat wat je gedaan hebt en wat je gevormd heeft. Zelf ben je je niet bewust van de impact die dat heeft op andere mensen, ofwel het respect wat je daardoor verdient hebt. Je bewust bekwaam worden van deze gedachte brengt je meer en meer tot ontdekking van wie je zelf bent, wat je eigen authenticiteit is en wat voor invloed dit heeft op andere mensen. Als je je hier van bewust bent kun je andere nog beter begrijpen en daardoor nog meer laten laten groeien in hun leiderschapskwaliteiten. Tegelijkertijd wordt je dan een nog groter leider……
Leiderschap is een interessante term. Waarom publiceer je dit artikel op linkedin? Waarom ben je leider? De vraag is volgens mij ben je leider of denk je dat je dat je leider bent?
Persoonlijk leiderschap is in mijn ogen de enige juiste basis voor welk soort leiderschap dan ook. Thuis, op het werk, op de club, in de maatschappij of waar dan ook. Zit dit persoonlijke er niet bij dan geeft het zijn van een leider in mijn ogen vroeg of laat grote problemen voor jezelf en voor je omgeving. Soms heeft een eenvoudige huisvrouwin mijn ogen nog meer leiderschap als en president van een land. Leiderschap is een interessant term vandaar deze reactie.
